Questions you should be asking.

What happens during an annual visit?

A certified technician spends 60โ€“90 minutes on-site. We update firmware across every connected device, test your network, check mount hardware, verify AVR/HDMI handshakes, run audio/video sync tests, inspect surge protection, and document everything in a written report. You get the report. We file a copy. If something needs attention, you’ll know before it fails.

What’s NOT covered?

Replacement parts (covered at your member discount), accidental damage, manufacturer recalls (we’ll help you process those, but the manufacturer pays), and upgrades to new equipment. The plan covers maintenance and labor โ€” not free hardware.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel any time after the first 6 months via your Stripe customer portal. Annual plans cancel at renewal. No early termination fees, no automatic re-bills past your cancellation date.

Do you service equipment you didn’t install?

Yes. We service any major-brand AV equipment regardless of who installed it. Equipment older than 10 years may have limited firmware/parts availability โ€” we’ll flag that during your first visit.

How fast is priority scheduling?

Essential: next business day in the Katy area. Pro: same-day when available. Regular service requests without a plan: 3โ€“5 business days.

I just had a TV installed. Do I need this?

If you have a single TV mounted on drywall, Essential is plenty. If you have a fireplace mount, multi-room audio, soundbar with ARC, or 3+ TVs around the house, Pro is the better fit โ€” the twice-a-year visit catches mount drift and HDMI issues before they bite.

What if I have multiple homes?

One plan per address. We offer a 20% multi-property discount on plans 2 and 3 for the same customer. Call us for portfolio pricing if you have more than three properties.

Is there a mileage limit or coverage area?

No mileage cap. We go wherever you are โ€” no trip fees on any plan, ever. To keep service efficient at distance, we cluster maintenance visits geographically, so your scheduled date may be one of two available days in your area each quarter.

How does billing work?

Billing runs through Stripe โ€” the same platform used by Shopify, DoorDash, and most major service businesses. You’ll get a customer portal to update your card, view invoices, switch tiers, or cancel after the 6-month minimum. Annual plans are billed once per year. Monthly plans bill on the same day each month.
